Is this too small of a 1.3Ltr engine? I cant work it out???
Fish
Second one.

Its not that big, but it is shiny. ;)
Fish
If that\'s what I think it is then no but too small for what ? depends on what you want to achieve ?
There is a small chance you could be talking about that bottle of millers. Making me feel thirsty now bugger.
ok, so it is big, and it is shiny but are you oging to be so kind as to enlighten us upon its statistics?
housing size, wheel trim, and what you might be putting it on?
Oh and will you be able to fit it under the bonnet?:D
The compressor(Whilst still very important for power potential) is not so important as the turbine side of things because if the exhaust gas can\'t escape quickly enough at revs then it will choke the engine and slow the turbine down(And compressor obviously),it will also mean you end up with more gas contamintation in the inlet charge through to much back pressure between the turbine and exhaust ports on the engine.
As a general rule on a rotary you need a considerably larger turbine than you would on a piston engine for making the same power.
Kind regards
Carl;)
And you need an even large turbine if you have those secret port sizes... ;)

Hi Michael,
It will fit easily under the bonnet of an FD.
I know cos we have an even bigger turbo than that running in one!!
Kind regards
Carl:D
Teeny. This is a real turbo
Here\'s Bill\'s picture. But I still think Carl had a bigger one fitted in the engine bay. :D
Fish
who says size doesnt matter!!
what would that thing be used for?
 is that fake or of a ship or something
Air con. ;)
Fish
now fish, fish , fiiiiiiish. whats all this secret port thing?:D
we are all on the same side here. or are you after the first mazda to be in the 9\'s?
On a completely random thread stealing note, the first mazda to get into the 9\'s in oz actually did one of his passes with a completely internally stock engine. Course it didnt last too long;)
Oh well sizing would be telling ;)
As for Bish racing, opps sorry Drag racing I\'m not interested.... Lack of bends. :D
One day I might get a car back on track. :(

was it not u that made me pmsl saying "drag reminds me of streight lines streight lines remind me of geomitry geomitry reminds me of school :( now curves however :D
Nope.

Is it big Danny? without a bottle of miller to hand its hard to make out its size; compressor housing looks a bit like a 35/40, but I dont think the exhaust housing is?
I presume its going to be a track car?!?
If it gets past the bloody noise regs. we shall see.
Its a close friend of the 35/40. ;)

we make those things at work ...well slightly newer versions. Anyone want a turbo suitable for 14750bhp !?
