Just took delivery of the new tail lights for the gen3 import only rx7 what do you think??? If any one is interested in a set they retail for £199 but i could try and swing something for a group buy, either pm me or post on this thread with your opinions on the lights.

Actually, they look groovy and have a number of styling queues straight from the RX-8. The indicators are on the outside and have 2 horizontal bars splitting the lens in front of the indicator lamp. The RX-8 only has 1 rear light, but is the same size and layout as the rear lights shown. So the main difference is the extra rear light and the top row of three.

I happen to think they look great, and even if the didn\'t, no need to slam them... they are the lads new toys, afterall!!
Common knowledge Im not keen, but I think thats not too bad on Silver. Dont like the middle bit though. Spray your old middle panel the same colour as the car and it would look better imho.

Miguel mentioned getting a dark set of these (in another thread) but would be interested in seeing the result. Not my kind of thing though; the Max Power posse have already ruined my impression of "Lexi" style lights.

Nope I don\'t like those either ... can\'t wait for the clear light trend to stop. They just detract from the clean lines of a car and make it look fussy and over complicated.

can;t make my mind up about those lights at all. Don;t think they\'d suit a dark car as has been said, but they do kinda work. Not keen on the centre bit tho.

In all honesty, driving up the M40 behind Bish on Sunday, these did actually look quite good. Still not keen on that centre section though. Those three centre lights looked to me a bit like fisher price made them. :rolleyes: Aside from that though, I was surprised to find myself appreciating them.
Just a shame that the lexus clear light thing got so popular with the chavs that its hard to be objective about them any more.
Top marks to those who have had the balls to put them on cars and see what they look like though! :god :cheers

They are a cheaper alternative to late spec lights for the ear ly boys.
When i get my new rex depending on it colour i might get myself a set and spray the shitty center section body colour.

There are some in japan thats look like the rx8 rear clusters, which are wicked.
I wonder if we could get a group buy together, and ask someone with contacts in japan (importer guys!!:D ), to get us some in.

Anyone attending the northern meet this month will be ablle to take a look at the angel eye rear lights I have on my car.
