Title: Don\'t cry, its not all bad
Post by: MintyFresh on August 31, 2004, 07:44:20 PM
Hello,

Im sure you\'ve all noticed that im selling the rex (its hard not too), and im sure you are all fearing the worst.

But No!   I will be purchasing another FD, im just waiting for the right single turbo to come along.

I bought the red rex as an everyday driver and although its been quick and reliable, its a just a little too small for me on a daily basis so im getting a different daily driver thats bigger, and getting another FD for fun.

It does mean i have a custom fibreglass install (minus the speakers and amps) that will probably be for sale soon.

Anyway, dry your eyes and breath a sigh of relief. Im hear to stay.

Need to get mine started and may help alot

Will it allow me to fit my DLS A4 Ultimate in the boot ???? (600ish x 400ish mm)

Have you any pictures of it installed ???

How much would you want for it ???

I\'ll post pics tomorrow as thats when its coming out. I will post fitted and unfitted pics.

It houses a 12" sub in the boot in a 1cf box.  Its fibreglass and unpainted ready for whatever colour you want to use.

I had a DLS A6 amp intergrated into the install so an A4 will fit no hassle.

Is it a perminant fixture or one you can/could remove for trackdays? Any ideas of price you\'d be asking?

its removeable.  i designed it to come out easily coz i had a second battery and my sub weighs a tonne.

Im not sure really, its useless to me now so i guess highest bidder can have it.

Offers huh! Well I\'ll put a bid in to test the water... £150;) Would you consider selling without sub and bits i.e. just the fiberglass shell and deadening?

sorry guys, the install \'shell\' has been sold at well over the odds at £250.  There wasnt much point starting an auction coz £250 was all its money and then some.
