Title: 20b ECU Upgrade
Post by: kev-yorks on August 29, 2004, 09:53:49 PM
Hi all,

question for the more technically minded of you.Is it possible to upgrade the standard 20b ecu with either a reprogram or piggyback chip. I want to remove the front cat and both main cats.So need to increase the fuelling to compensate for the extra airflow.

Thanks Kevin

We have a 20b supercharged engine in an FD which uses a Microtech.  Would be a pain on a standard one though as you have to wire in a new loom for it.   I ran my cosmo with electric fan, no cats, air filter and bigger intercooler on the stock ecu with no problems.  Knocked 2 seconds of the 0-60 time aswell.
Geff at Reworx is the person to speak to as he has fitted several 20b\'s with micrtech\'s
