Title: Power steering removal.
Post by: Grizzly on August 28, 2004, 11:47:15 AM
Hello boys and girls.

Could anyone help me this.

I am removing the PS from a 1991 T2 i read some time ago when you do this there is a way of blocking off the Rack as to not let C**p build up and cause a possable sticking steering moment.

Has anyone done a write up on this? I know i could go out and buy a non Ps rack but i dont see the point if it can be removed.

Thanks

Chris

Yep read that some where, was there not some thing about
a ballance hose so the fluid is transfered across from lock
to lock?
some thing like block off one hole and purchase/make suitable
hose, what about a manuel rack surely the ratios would be
beter?
No help really I guess,
Paul..
