This may sound a silly question but does anyone know the size of the fuel tank on an FD3S? The petrol light came on today and it felt like it was about to die on me. I put about 72 litres in so just wondered how much I actually had left in there...
Not my day really, after that happening some *@!* hit the side of my car and damaged the wing mirror all because he couldn\'t be bothered to wait in a queue of traffic. :reallymad
Also, somebody told me the other day that they were reading in the workshop manual that the car is supposed to run on standard unleaded?? That can\'t be right, surely?
Any help/advice greatly appreciated. Thanks
72 ltrs, you must have been on vapour, not good for rotarys, asking for a rebuild.
If its a uk spec car then yes 95 ron.
If its an import, Japan run on 100 ron so use 98 or optimax, unless you are run a programable ecu, if its been mapped to run on 95.
Thanks.
The light had only just come on for some reason so I\'ll have to keep an eye on it and refill a long time in advance! Problem at the moment though is that I had the car in a bodyshop about a week ago and they\'ve misaligned the petrol cap when they put it back on so I can only get it open if there\'s someone else there :o
Take it back and get them to sort it out.
Can no-one be trusted to do a good job these days??
I will do when I get the chance, they\'re only across the road from where I work anyway so I should be able to get it done soon. I put it off because somebody else said they\'d sort it for me and then didn\'t...
Not having much luck though since I got the car back. In the last week I\'ve had somebody hit the wing mirror, a rabbit run out in front of me and last night a dog ran into the side of the car when I was going down the road. What next???
:eek :eek :eek :xconfused !!!!!!
