Title: bodyshop
Post by: AdrianE on August 25, 2004, 08:47:13 PM
Can anyone recommend a bodyshop not too far away from M25 Jnc11 that does a proper job fitting bodykits (for my FD3S)?

I\'ve had a load of bad luck in the past with fitting and spraying body parts on other cars, and just want to find a pukka place to fit the Wisesports f/spoiler and sideskirts that I\'ll be getting in a few days time.

Cheers,

Adrian

Been told of a good one in Essex if you have no luck with your area.  Let me know if you want details.

I know its some way, probably a 100 mls, but have a friend down here (Bournemouth) who has just opened his own bodyshop, specialising in custom works, bodykit installs, the lot basically. He is of ex Dawsons fame who have had many a show car, magazine cover car from their stable. He has also had his own cars featured, so would come highly recommended if you can deal with 100 mls or so. He will soon be working on my own demo car! Just had a quick look on the map and it would seem you are right next to the M 3, easy drive down and easy to get the train, he might even collect from you if you ask him nicely.

Try your local Mazda dealer bodyshop:

T W Whites
Unit 12
Manor Way
Old Woking
Surrey
GU22 9JX
Tel â€" 01483 722700

They have done a few jobs on the wife\'s MX-5  (wing, spoiler, boot) and always done a good job.  They have also done work on other peoples Rx-7s fitting sideskirts, noses and custom bonnets.

I\'d give them a ring and pop round and talk to Viz about what you want, you always get a more realistic impression of a business if you visit.

Thanks for the replies. It has to be a local bodyshop though, so I\'ll check out TW Whites. Hopefully they won\'t charge me silly rates like £65+/hr. I\'m going to try to get the work done before TRAX2004 but I \'ve probably left it a bit late now!

Cheers,

Adrian
