Hiya all,im new here,Im still looking for an rx-7.I would like a manual gearbox model and would pay upto £10,000 for a very nice one.I have just lost my mr 2 turbo(stolen)it was around 300 bhp and i think the rx will have similar performance.Im in Scotland but have seen one i like at Keighley trade center in England,it is metalic yellow and is a fresh import. It has a single turbo conversion,58,ooo miles and full body kit priced at £6999.Any of you guys live near there and seen the car?You could maybe save me a long drive if it isnt a good one. This car can be seen at //www.keighleycartradecentre.co.uk  Thanks in advance

Hmmmm it sounds like a bargain, and bargains are all usually too good to be true. I was brought up in Keighley, well near by and I wouldn\'t trust that place at all. I\'d do a search on here for Kieghley trade centre, there have been a few threads about them. That car is far too cheap, but if you knew what you\'re doing then surely the parts alone would be worth that much?????, sorry just talking aloud. I may be going home at the weekend, so could pop in if you still wish to find out about it.

Regards,

Paul

When i was looking for my rx7 i went to keighley twice. They did give me a good trade in price but that was the only plus. The first time i went (i live 60 miles away  ) they had two in ! one had a flat back tyre and dodgy respray and the other hadn\'t been sva\'d so no on road test drive. The second time they did all look in reasonable condition (from somebody that knew nothing about the rx7 at the time).

To be honest i wouldn\'t bother with keithley at all, they just import anything that they can get their hands on and really would mean that you may have to factor a cost of a rebuild extremely soon after purchase ! Think about the milage when reading the adds !

The best place to look really is on this group, at least the owners will have experience of the rx7 and haven\'t got it for looks alone !

I\'m not really sure if the black one in blackpool is still for sale, it was on my to look list before i found mine ! He was selling it for a wedding !
