Is there any way of telling from a picture of the engine bay if an fd is a standard twin turbo or a single turbo conversion?
Thanks
twin turbo no room at all..single turbo slightly less clutter..only joking yes it will be very obvious
VERY obvious; if you can SEE the turbo its probably single :)
If theres two air induction cones = twin turbo
Single cone = single turbo
Usually?:)
Er that sounds like BS to me Gurj M8? (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v44/scooby_si/bs.jpg)

Simon, please remove the nasty word...
And no, its not B/S :wave
easiest way to tell is to go out for a drive, the single will usually leave a residue in your underpants.
If you can climb in and go to sleep its a single turbo.
If you can\'t fit a nats pube in the engine bay its a twin.
If someones got a pic of the two please post, i dont dudes!!!:(
i got a single, anyone got twins, there is a piccy of a stock engine bay on the "what are these" thread.
Twins
DAMN!!!!
I thought you guys would prove me right!!! single has 1 cone the bleeding twin has none!!!!:rollin :rollin :rollin
I have seen twins with an aftermarket airfilter which is one cone but two inlets.
edited bad word & mine kinda looks like Gmans......
