A rotary as a range extender seems a fierce waste but maybe some clever person can make it into a power boost

Loving the new potential coupe though.
Thanks for that Matt, hadn't seen that.
As for electric cars.
We have been glued and fascinated to a BBC2 programme called The Secret Genius of Modern Life.
Next week she will pull apart Electric cars so that will be interesting.
Its already been proved that at the moment electric is no cheaper to run ATM.
Having said that Tesla just announced that again the far outstripped all over makers with almost 40K sold in their first quarter, their best ever, damn soulless things, the black Model T of its day !!.
Couldn't bring myself to buy a Tesla given the way Musk treats his workforce!
I've just put "The Secret Genius of Modern Life" on my watch list

should be interesting to see one pulled apart
I own a Tesla and never thought I would have so much fun driving this car and it's just a great pity that Mazda is so far behind the game at the moment compared to other car companies that are slowly catching up with the market leaders :icon_thumleft:
Mazda have had a full electric MX-30 out there for something like three years now, however hopefully the MX-30 with Rotary extender will be out in March next year.
I was hoping to get Mazda to bring one to JDM this year but they couldn't make it happen.
Here we go have a look at this below.
