You don't need an open exhaust to make flames. Even the massive silencer on the Dieudonne/Walkinshaw FB will spit fire:

Not anymore. That engine has now been converted from carbs setup to throttle bodies and sits in an FD:

Saw a post on Facebook where a bond bug just melted to the ground roadside and left a twisted chassis.
Been researching zircotec ceramic coatings, heat shielding, loads of different items.
The old exhaust wrap ain't such a good product by all accounts
Made me wish I plumbed in a fire extinguisher

I must admit Jamie although you manifold is a work of art i do share you sentiments. I only burnt my shin once on the westory exhaust. The collectors get as hot as hell. There piston hot then theres rotary hot.

I have had Racing Beat manifolds done in the past for customers and I'm sure it wasn't crazy money like that.
Normally the only accurate way of getting a quote on a manifold is to send it off to them.
