Title: Front pulley
Post by: mercomms on April 12, 2020, 05:22:00 PM
Hi guys, this may seem like a silly question. "Is the front pulley bolt right or left hand thread". I`m asking because I`m stripping down my engine and I cannot get the bolt to move either way. I`ve got my flywheel lock on and just want to be sure of the thread before I get my 3/4 drive power bar on it ha ha.
Thanks
Dave

Right hand thread and these bolts offen bite real tight, so yes 3/4 drive bar  and a nice hexagonal 19mm socket  required

Any specific flywheel lock needed to get the front pulley nut off? And alternatively for tightening the flywheel nit on also.

Thanks
