Make Mazda reproduce genuine replacement parts for all the classic rotary modelsQuote"The global Mazda Rotary community of enthusiasts, restorers, modifiers, collectors have come together and are petitioning Mazda Motor Corporation to start reproducing all the discontinued and unavailable car parts for all the classic rotary models to keep the Mazda rotary dream alive.
We want genuine quality made Mazda parts to ensure the continued enjoyment, longevity and appreciation of all the classic Mazda rotary models that Mazda are famous for worldwide.
Just like brand new genuine rotary engine parts we can still buy from Mazda we want to be able to buy brand new car parts direct from Mazda i.e doors, fenders, body panels, nosecones, plastic trims, badges, light lenses, interior parts, chrome trims, chrome bumpers etc that are no longer available from Mazda and very rare to source NOS be they Cosmo, R100, RX2, RX3, RX4, RX5, RX7 for 2 door and 4 door models.
The demand for genuine new Mazda parts is real. People are paying a small fortune today for NOS parts if they can actually find them. Good, reusable 2nd hand parts is also very difficult to source. Some people are content with reusing 30-50 year old parts or repro products, some are not. We want greater market choice.
Surely there must be a way that Mazda could invest the time, energy and funding to make this commercially viable and lucrative for Mazda like VW does for all their classic models through their own heritage business unit.
This petition is a reflection of global market demand."
I've signed. Maybe, just maybe, Mazda might listen. Can't do any harm!
