Track Attack Media Launch day @ Brands Hatch 27th February. This will launch the season with BTCC and all other Saloons & Single Seaters racing on MSVR tracks in 2020.
Public will be welcome for free to see many many different race cars in one place on the day.
Banzai Magazine will be coming along to cover our three represented Nippon Challenge cars .
Spent a few hours in the freezing wind at Brands Hatch earlier. Car was going well and sounded awesome!
I have a lot of pics and video to sort, but won't be able to do that until after this weekend as I'm at the RX-8 OC AGM+Annual Meet weekend ;)
A teaser for now:
Huge thanks to Malcolm and Andrew for braving the cold to give support.
The day was about the MSVR launching the 2020 season with all the series associated with their tracks.
You can see a car representing each with the grid shot below where I represented the Track Attack Series.
The cars running great and had a good session in the morning driving in the rain, stuck slicks on for the afternoon but it was way too cold and damp to switch them on.
Also here's some of the other Track Attack cars that were there.
Great pics.
Would have liked to been there, never been to brands.
Work getting n the way
OK, just looked at times and was quiet surprised fastest I have ever managed so for on a hot clean dry track is a 54 second
Yesterday freezing cold, damp with water streaks still across the track and the last three laps with the tyres still stone cold, 58, 58, 57 :) so I am both shocked and pleased :)
Sector timings rounded this up as the optimum time
