Title: Its carbon!!!
Post by: monkeyboy on August 19, 2004, 01:47:15 PM
I have a 93 fd with a standard front bumper (which i think looks reallt nice)

There is a spliter on the bottom of the car, i notice that some are painted and some are just black plastic.

I v noticed a lot of cars in the us have a carbon lip type thing:D

I have enclosed a pic, does anyone do one for the standard bumper???

Prob struggle to get one for the standard front.

There are companies that do little aero fronts that attach to the standard front in japan and they make the front look different, but no carbon as far as i  know....

check out //www.takakaira.co.jp

Have a look thro the aero parts on there.

Think you\'ll have trouble with it when it comes around to MOT time, unless you want to remove it.

Nice one.

Yea that sounds good....can you strech to a carbon bonnet aswell, carbon looks great with red.

I think its the police and mot peeps think in an accident...say you ran someone over just perfect so they caught your spats, that it would slice them up nicely.

Its crazy really, as if little bits of carbon are gonna do much damage, apparently more than a 1200kg piece of metal hitting you:rolleyes:

Did you know spinners are illegal aswell.....if they protrude the arches, the spining piece of metal is classed as dangerous.

Ah, that explains why on the new rolls /maybachs/bentlys etc why you can push a button for the badge to go on display or not!

Also, thats why pop up headlights are no more....pedestrian safety.
