As I did last year, I thought it might be a good idea to have a single topic that everyone can subscribe to, that announces all MRC related events.

We already have a few dates fixed for 2020, so bear with me and I'll update this thread when I've got a bit of time just after Christmas. ***TRACKDAY***, Brands Hatch (Indy), Kent, Friday 4 December. A popular trackday organised by Mazda on Track for over 10 years. We usually get between 10-20 Mazda rotaries on track and, with a block of garages, kettle and mince pies available, it's a very social event in the calendar. Cars limited to 60 (~25 on track max), meaning little queuing to get out on the Open Pit Lane day. More details on the RX-8 OC here: https://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=81002 which gives details of how to book your place, currently on an "early bird" discount at just £125. Let us know by posting in here (or over on RX-8 OC, so we can allocate suitable garage space - you can book your own for £30, or have a share in our block for £5, but let us know!

It's dank, horrible and miserable outside as I type this, but I've just added loads of new events for the Spring and Summer in the first post, so you can dream of the warm sun to come :great:
I hope to see some MRC members again at an event in 2020 :)
Thanks Malcolm for the list of events happening this year :sign0098: hope to see many Rotary owners at some of the events.
Hi Casey, given the latest Government advice how do these events stand with regard to Coronavirus. Regards Markp
It would seem that I am still racing at Oulton Park on the 13th April. With a guideline of Club meetings have less than 5000 people and its open air.
So "if" things stay the same, smaller car events may continue but not events like Japfest etc
Thanks for the latest info Clive. Good to hear there is some normality in this crazy world at the moment :)
Hi Mark :) - I will proceed on the basis shows will continue, until the Government advice or event organisers make it clear that any particular event has to be cancelled. I think it is highly likely that some will be called off, but things are developing so quickly, it's impossible to predict at the moment.

This event is currently a "GO"!
Officially, we can't publicise this as a Club Meet, but why not book a ticket as a few of us intend to go ;)
