Hi Clive
We have just made the same booking and assume you were referring to Apollo Hotel in Lelystad.
Something to look forward to and a first trip to Holland in Rx7 since the RX7 owners club trip to the event in Noordwijk in 1994.
Dave and Sally
Excellent news your both coming along, I know you will enjoy it immensely, not only for the cars but also the way you will welcomed by everyone there.
Amsterdam on the Saturday also brings a great day out.
Hotel booked, now all I have to do is decide which car to fetch.
;D

The fast one, so you can win the slalom again :)) :))
Booked the Apollo, 23-26 Jul - just need to broach the idea with Gwyn at an appropriate moment :)
We did enjoy the last outing there :icon_thumleft:

I really want to come too.

I really have to consider that. Althought I promiced my daughter that we would be going to Germany next year...
Anyhoo, that Apollo hotel is great. We really enjoyed. And downstairs is a good restaurant. Lots of nice coffee shops near, to get like breakfast. Previous time, my wife found massive shoe shop near, just a hint for ladys

And for hint, theres few really awesome castles within small road trip. Absolute pleasure to drive thru Dutch countryside to spectacular places.
Also, every where you go, eat cheesecake. Its frickin awesome there

Jarno, If you drive, Germany is on the way down ;)
Read about this in the Christmas newsletter and thought "Why not" so I have booked the hotel. I presume there will be a convoy rendezvousing somewhere for the drive.
Well done Chris, pleased your coming along, I know you will love the trip, the cars and the people you will meet.
In all the years we have gone not one person has not enjoyed everything surrounding this event :great:
I am up for this as well
Be a nice 21st Birthday present for Adam, so if any of you chat to the boy on faecesbook, shush!
Hopefully the current situation will change soon and I can at least get the FC out of storage and get it MOT'd
Nice one Gary, welcome to the merry band :)
Just have to see how the restrictions pan out over the next few months. Hopefully it's far enough away that things will be eased by July.
Regrettably, given this is now less than 3 months away and seeing the way things are going in Europe, I have decided to cancel my plans to attend this event in Holland :(
The last Rotarystock Gwyn and I attended was most enjoyable, so it's sad to have to make this decision.
More broadly, I have no plans to travel to Europe in 2021, which will be the longest period in my adult life that I have not travelled outside the UK (last trip September 2019!) :(
I have decided to go to "Simply Japanese" at Beaulieu on Sunday 25th July with the RX-8 OC, assuming things continue to improve in the UK of course!
Hopefully it will still be going ahead , but at least you will be having some rotary fun, and if it gets cancelled I will probably see at simply Japanese.
In view of the ongoing travel restrictions we have decided not to attend this event this year,. which is a shame, but hopefully it we will be able to attend in 2022 :icon_thumright:
In view of this if any one has pre- booked the hotel please make sure you cancel your booking.
MRC will however be attending Simply Japanese at Beaulieu on Sunday 25th July. As per previous years we will join with the RX8 Owners Club , so please see link below with regards to booking your tickets via the RX8OC shop.
