Hi Guys,

Was looking at Nemesis Performance website and came across these 2 beauties that I thought I\'d share.

The car looks awesome.
I presume its a Veilside kit with some kind of Wide Arch kit ?
Love the Veilside wing with carbon in it, looked at the price on Nemesis, not cheap but very cool.
I also like the Gauge pods..very shiny
What do you guys think?

Just a quick question how come there arent many Black Bodykitted RX7s ? They all seem to be Red, Silver or White.

Cheers
Gareth

Shows how taste is a personal thing.  Gods that car is ugly IMHO, especially that nose.

Shithot! I\'ve always had a thing for VeilSide but I\'ve never had the bottle to glue one of their kits to my 7. My car\'s black and (soon to be) kitted up.

The sides on that car look like C1 to me anyway, im not really a Veilside expert.

If someone is going to get arches like that though, then imho they need to get the original arch cut out the way and run wheels with a decent offset (or at least a big spacer) to avoid it looking silly.

My technospeeds i have coming over are fairly wide lee....9" front and 10" rears....

Front is 9"wide +41 offset.
Back is 10" wide with +45 offset.

What do you reckon lee.....will this be wide enough?

I really quite fancy these.

Dan!!

The width isnt that imprtant in this case, its the offset thats going to determine how far out they come.

Will be fine for standard arches, but if you had arches like that they would be so far inside it would end up looking silly (personal opinion, but you really want the arches filled like in the pic).

You could keep the same wheels and just run a spacer.  I have a feeling it might need to be pretty big though, maybe 20mm or more.  Cant really say just from seeing a picture of the arch.

Yea i deffo agree about the wheels filling arches like that....widearches and wrong offset wheels look terrible.

Hmmm....deffo thinking about this tho.

i think it looks as mean as :) .. it\'s very full on and i can understand why its not to everyones taste.

Veilside are moving away from this kind of look now though and putting all their effort into the "Fortune" range.

Dan if those arch extensions won\'t work how bout rolling the arches out yourself slightly ??? .. Lee do you think this kinda arch rolling works on FD\'s ?? .. am considering it for mine .. will obviously need spacers though i guess

Just to add to your thoughts then, if you do decide you wanted to run a massive spacer the studs may not be long enough so you might need to change them too.

Its not something Ive ever looked at but they cant come out that far.

If an RX-7 looks like the white one it should have the power to back up the look :)

Do you know what the spec of that car is? It certainly has presence on the road, its huge

Lee....another good thought that, something to take in consideration.

Iain....haha! IMHO renault shouldnt have put viper stripes down one side of a clio, but hey;)

Chris.....they are that fast even in standard form that rx7\'s can carry off wild kits anyway.

Like its been said, everyone to their own and all that....world would be very boring if we all liked the same stuff, wouldnt it:)

Peace ya\'ll

Think his clio in his avator is the celerbratory one. Those stripes were on their R5 back in the day.

Sorry wasn\'t saying that people shouldn\'t put bodykits on their car if its stock. I ment when I see an RX-7 like that it makes me think its super dooper fast single turbo best and it flames and stuff :)

Its hard to see as the black matches in with the tyres.  Infact really bad pic.

What I would say is this.

The wheels look different to me.  The wide arch wheels appear to have a lower offset (to push them out more).  You can see this looking at the size of the dish on the front wheel in particular.  Its noticably bigger.

In fact they are even a different design lol.

Them wheels will have been specced to fill the arch - if you swapped them over both cars would look silly :p

I think if the wide arch kit was in chrome and then the alloys in anything but chrome it will look cool.

But as Lee says the alloys are changed to make the kit look feesible bud?

Yea, i see now....hmmm....spacers it is then i think.

My technospeeds will have white spokes with polished rims, and i think with my colour car, this kit extension should go with  the style of my car ok.

I\'m gonna try and source some i think:)

thanks for the thoughts guys.

Sorry Dan didnt mean to pee people off with my comments.
Of course the whole point of modding a car is to make it more personal. I dont want to slate peoples hard work (esp as i havent got a rex yet).

If your interested Christopher was correct, the stripes on my cup are Gordini stripes that where on renaults race cars in the 70s.
I put em on my car so it stood out frim the sea of clios at meets
