Title: Lynne's Rallye d'Aumale adventures
Post by: Casey on May 01, 2019, 03:12:19 PM
Lynne (LynneE) was having trouble posting pictures on the forum, so sent me an email, which I thought was worthy of sharing! Quite a Euro Adventure  :icon_thumleft:

"I thought you might be interested to see some photos from a classic car rally I was lucky enough to attend earlier this month.
My FD was the only rotary-engined car to attend (out of around 250 cars), and it did Mazda proud, completing 1300 miles in 4 days: including the long runs to/from Wales to Chantilly, around 200 km of navigation rally (on all sorts of roads!!...), and 3 laps of the Circuit Ferté Gaucher.

The car didn't miss a beat!

It wasn't an event for serious track hounds 😉  - more Goodwood Revival/Champagne Tour, than Festival of Speed! -  but there were some awesome cars there and it was a fantastic experience.

Please feel free to add them to the forum, if you think others will be interested.

Hope to see you all at some Rotary events through the summer (unfortunately, I'm working away on both 1st and 8th June)"
