now i was just going to build one good one but then my little brother had his eye on one and my mrs wants one as well so looks like im going to be building all 3 :icon_thumright: #savethefc yay :'(
well since i have enough on my plate any ways i thought well its not gonna get much worse ill just have to build them all bit by bit...
i will say this.. they all wont have original parts... maybe one will but the other two will be a miss match of different things.. so yes keep an eye out and hopefully i will have one done by the end of the year :sign0085:

Dont panic, I annoy everyone on a daily basis with my updates!!
I have to be good at something lol
:13: so i started on my days off cutting and welding some bits learning to panel beat. :violent1:
realised welding sucks but i am getting to it, bit by bit
i started a instagram = https://www.instagram.com/anthwilkes/
ill start putting more info on here also... i wish every one the best of luck
im pretty determined to get them done...
i seem to be more motivated to get them done than i have ever been before...
i dont have any one that helps me as i dont have friends or anything to help so im learning it all by my self... the first one im building is going to be on the road but its also going to be a fun toy in a sense roll cage is fitted and will be a 13 b na
the next should be a bit more of an experiment of a few ideas i have :dontknow:
if you add me on instagram i will follow you back thanks and ill try get the pics on here too :D
Some tips.......
Use thinner card for your templates.....
I'm not sure what welder you have, but if you're butt welding repair panels on the outside, use 0.6 or at the biggest 0.8 welding wire.
You'll need to keep the power low, don't weld continuously, do an inch here, then go on the other side, to spread the heat evenly or your panel will warp and go wrinkly like a witches tit.
Use a damp rag to cool it as you go, slow n steady wins the race. Try and leave a 0.5 mm ish gap to get some penetration because when you linishing it back you need to leave some meat on the panel.
You could joggle the one panel and do a slight overlap.
I would go on you tube if you're on a steep learning curve, because you can pick up some tips on there. Don't be disheartened if it doesnt go well, you don't learn this stuff over night.
Hope this helps
