Is there much difference between makes of timer???? im looking at getting a apexi is this a good/bad idea. any views would be appriciated
I think certain makes have added extras, but they all do the same job really, I have a Greddy timer, works fine and was reasonably easy to fit so no complaints.
Yeah i had a blitz TT & boost guage thrown into the box for free infact i still have it if anyone can work out what wires etc i\'d need to wire it back in

, AKA sell it, as i now have a TT as part of my alarm system. Have you already got your car & alarm etc or is that sumin you\'ll be getting fitted?
Si
i bought the car as of 1 hour ago!!!:cool :cool its already got a clifford concept 500 on! just want a turbo timer to take care of my new baby!!:p
Give http://www.motorguarduk.co.uk/ (http://www.motorguarduk.co.uk/) a call

& speak to Rich there (AKA doctor Clifford) based in North brum & they are daddies of the clifford & other security systems & very well priced to boot he should be able to whack you a TT onto yer alarm easy peasy at a guess.......
Can tell him scooby_si recommended you if you like although i recall the last time sum1 did that he said who the cheeky wee fella i\'ve met him at enough meets (no connection with him other than a happy customer i should add) he has an impecable rep & has done many group buys on trackers & blackjax for the scooby lot before.....
Should add the TT with the clifford system is set to wotever time you want so not adjustable like the aftermarket plug in TT\'s although it is operatable via remote so can make for amusing "turn off Kit" moments in car parks to show off (http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/geno/rofl.gif)

& congrats on yer purchase BTW when you starting a thread telling us about yer new found friend?

lol

If you go for a separate TT then you\'ll get variable run on times based on various factors.
There doesn\'t appear to be that much between them imo, but make sure you get yerself a harness if you\'re not a electrical type.
I got an Apexi and took the trim off the steering column and under the dash at the weekend. on seeing the mass of wires my basic response was to head immediately for the PC and find someone to buy a harness from!!:D
down side is it\'ll take a couple of weeks to get the harness to me for a 96 car as it\'s different to the earlier ones apparently.
hahahaha i know mr clifford very well.... will have a word wit him see wat he can do!!!
a post bout my new best friend i do know how well that;d go down:o worth a go tho
