For Sale Mazda RX7 FB 1985 track car £4000 ONO
Priced for quick sale
Buyer to collect on trailer as currently SORN but can be easily made road legal with a fuel tank repair/replacement.
Rotary Engine - 12A Bridgeport Built by Dwayne @ Silver Fern Performance using Race Spec carbon seals and bearings
750 Miles since rebuild.
Engine tuned by WGT Auto Developments Ltd
New Custom Built Stainless Steel Exhaust
New Oil Cooler complete with Braided pipes and secondary oil filter
New Water cooling Radiator
External fuel pump mounted in Stainless Steal box connected via braided pipes
Stripped out interior with Racing seats and harnesses. Driver’s seat extra large OMP WRC Fibreglass in date.
Polycarbonate door windows and rear quarters.
Limited Slip differential
original alloy wheels fitted with **tyres
Bad Points
Leaking Fuel Tank (Original fuel tank can be easily replaced by fuel cell)
Corrosion on Drivers door
Corrosion on the sun roof
Paint Chip on bonnet
Door windows scratched around window openings
Upper windscreen surround damaged

I just bought a project fb....doh...and bank of wifey is closed due to laser eye surgery bill...

Just remembered, it was tuned by Pip at WGT last year. 160 BHP at the wheel I think. Have asked for the data to support. Thanks

Was this power about what you expected? I thought a bridgeport should see 200+ quite easily? Is it half bridge or full?

Re the hp I’m pretty sure it’s was keep to a half bridge and it has been tuned back a bit while it’s running in.
Dwayne at silver fern performance did all of the build so I will double check with him later

It's me that has bought the car. I also have 2 other RX7 Fbs so its in good company. I will hopefully get this car on track soon, but it's too loud for most trackdays really, so that needs addressing. I have only changed the seat for a smaller bucket seat and replaced the fuel tank so far.
