Title: Sad day.
Post by: Arnie on September 06, 2017, 07:19:49 AM
Yesterday was a sad day for me. After 11 years of ownership, Pip at WGT gave me the news that the old girl is due a rebuild. I half expected this after struggling with an erratic idle, copious amounts of stalling, low vac at idle and a feeling that she just wasn't pulling as hard as she used to! So now she sits in the garage while I start trying to save a wad of cash! Might put the missus out on the street, cancel my holiday and forget renovating the house for a while!  ;D Seriously though, I am planning on buying bits and bobs here and there so I can add a few mods when I get her done! I shall still be lurking in the shadows, (as normal) and may pop up here and there with questions or to buy your parts, so keep me in mind chaps!

Arrrrrrrrgggggggg, :(

Whilst this will cost money to sort, at least FD's are now a good investment with prices of the cars going up seemingly by the minute lately

Yes I've noticed the prices have gone through the roof! That's exactly how I've pitched it to the other half, it's an investment! She's not convinced though.  :dontknow: I told her it will be our pension! :13:
