It's a UK car I believe?  That being the case if the original logbook/V5C shows 2.6 then I don't believe that can be changed.

Ah, for some reason I had it in my mind yours was a UK car.
However I believe if the V5C shows as 2354 then you won't be able to get that changed.  Still I'm sure there are members here who can confirm one way or the other.

I know some people did get FD log books changed by showing that the cars are registered in Japan as 1300cc.

However I remember reading that the at the time RO80 Club got stung when members who had their log books changed were now being asked for back tax after the DLVC changed their minds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I successfully got the westy changed from 1700cc ( old vaux lump) to 1308cc...by writing a few letters and including the cars donor service book which stated 1308cc as engine size. Took dvla a few goes but they eventually got it right.....thing is if on import it was registered as 2600cc need to tell them this was wrong and provide supporting evidence. I.e. independent engineers report....which i was fortunate enough that my mate runs an mot garage and he supplied me with a headed business letter stated hed inspected car and was 1308cc....worth a try .....just means sending off your logbook so id included the supporting evidence with it with else youll be without your logbook whilst they send you correspondence.
Good luck...cheaper tax and poss  insurance awaits.

I thought the dvla cottoned on you this year's ago. If you were one of the lucky ones when your car was first registered as a 1308 then happy days. A few managed to convince the dvla they were wrong but in the end they just shut the door using the equivelent piston engined CC. This will have been 6-7 years ago so i expect unless your very lucky and catch a half asleep dvla operator the chances are slim.

I have now logbook from FD (show 1308cc) both have stated the same engine just 13B. I try to use that as evidence for DVLA.

Thanks for advice

Trying to dodge tax? It's supposed to be registered as a 2.6L in the UK so tax will be like £280/year.
