Title: Braided brake hoses
Post by: Ric on August 16, 2004, 09:43:16 PM
Anyone fitted a set of these to a 3rd gen?

I\'m after a set that actually fit straight on and dont require adjustment or modifiying.

If so where did you get them from and how much did they set you back? Can be from the US as I have a friend who is sending me something from over there at the moment anyway.

cheers.

You could get some here (http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/fdbrakes.html). (right at the bottom of the page). $130, which is about... £70-80-ish... I think. I haven\'t got a set myself, so I couldn\'t tell you if they\'re any good, but at that price, and if you can get someone to send them over for you, can\'t be too bad.

I fitted some recently, they were goodridge stainless braided with stainless fittings.

I had to grind flat one of the points on the mountings on the hoses, then they would fit into the brackets.

A bit odd, given that they were sold as direct fitment !
