Title: Simple Blitz BOV yes/no question
Post by: Mart160plus on August 16, 2004, 04:04:08 PM
Folks,

Sorry to touch on old ground here, you know what it\'s like when you want to work on your baby but not hurt her in anyway.
Bought a Blitz BOV and a couple of pipes and I want to install them now. I\'m not that knuckle-dragging technicologically, so I really just need a yes/no to the following :
A is the existing BOV. B is where the air is dumped out of the induction system when the BOV is operated. C is where the pressure signal comes to tell the BOV to operate when changing gear/easing off accelerator.
Therefore, bottom of Blitz BOV is plumbed into pipe at B, whereas pipe at C joins to top of BOV. At the same time where pipe B enters airbox (at D), hole needs to be blocked off with a champagne cork (or similar).

Is this correct ? I have to ask as with so many other vendors the guy sent me a load of extra pipes, T-connectors, and although having fitted a BOV on my GT-Four I\'m a bit more reticent when it comes to sequential turbo setups.

Thanks folks. Just wanna get my whooooosh.... :D
