Title: fd twins boost controller plumbing...best way?
Post by: boosted on December 19, 2016, 10:20:21 AM
Hi just about to when it arrives install a boost controller to keep the twins at 14 psi as spiking all over place atmo.

done loads of reading up and just confused the hell of of myself with various ways todo this...the new boost controller can be tweaked rpm dependant and i can set a wet setting etc BUT which way do i plumd it?

First piccy is standard as it is plumbed now using the mazda duty solenoid dumbly cycling to vent air.

option 1 and 2 leave the pre spool solenoid for 2nd turbo in the hands of the apexi

option 3 which i read on rx7 club tees the prespool and turbo control actuator together ?????

really dont wanna blow my engine up ill set 12psi first anyways to check all ok but which is best way?

in addition take boost source from existing nipples on turbo pack or from uim where the defi gets it reading from ?

any help greatly appreciated  ;D
