Title: Another Air Pump Problem
Post by: framey on August 15, 2004, 08:47:07 PM
Hi, my air pump isn\'t working.

I have 13v at the connector so guess the relay completes the circuit to earth.

Anyone tell me where the relay is?

Anyone had similar problems?

Thanks

The air pump relay is located in front of the stock air box attached to the nose of the car.

when you turn the ignition on/off...do you hear it "click"?
if not, you should test the relay for continuity.

I have a cat. Took it off but decided to replace it as I have a stock ecu and was frightened off with stories of "leaning it out" etc etc. No Plans for an aftermarket ecu as I have a auto box.

Thanks Oliver, I\'ll have a look tomorrow

Which ones the Air pump relay? I assume there should be a cover with the designations - but it\'s missing.
Thanks
