Title: Air pump/magnetic clutch problem
Post by: Oliver on August 15, 2004, 07:56:36 PM
Looking for some help from you guys in the UK

My magnetic clutch on the air pump is not working to spec\'s, causing my a/f ratios to bounce around. Making it VERY difficult to get stoic a/f ratio\'s for my up coming smog test.

Please... if you have the time. Read this thread I started in the RX7club forum.

Hi Oliver

Sorry no idea why this is doing this to your car, but do you need to run the pump as lots of guys in the U/K now take the pump off ?

Hello Clive

I need the pump in working order to pass the smog test. You say many people remove the AP ...but are they passing the smog test? then removing the pump?

Man, I wish we had a rotary shop in Denmark right now :( I was thinking of contacting Geff at REworx\'s. Maybe, he would help me out??

anyway... thanks!

Best Regards
Oliver
