For sale is my RX7 Type RZ, 1 of 175 ever made, and as far as I am aware the only one in the UK.
This car was imported through Torque GT after months of searching for a clean example, with only 40000 miles on the odometer from new, the car looks fresh from the factory.
Andrew from Jimmy’s RX7 said that it was the nicest RX7 he had driven.
The RX-7 Type RZ is a performance-enhanced limited edition version of the RX-7, Mazda’s rotary engine-powered sports car.
Type RZ is equipped with red custom full-bucket seats manufactured by Recaro, a custom suspension system manufactured by Bilstein, and custom aluminium wheels manufactured by BBS.
These and other enhancements reduce the overall weight of the Type RZ by approximately 10kg, improving handling and performance.
The Type RZ has a custom body in colour snow white pearl mica colour.
Only 175 units of this limited edition model were sold.
Notable differences are:
â€" Custom gun metallic coloured aluminium wheels manufactured by BBS
â€" Red carbon Kevlar Recaro bucket seats, adjustable tilt and slide.
â€" Custom dampers manufactured by Bilstein
â€" Custom red stitched steering wheel manufactured by Nardi
â€" Custom red stitched leather shift knob, stick shift boot, and parking brake lever boot
â€" Driver’s side kneepad
â€" Passenger side aluminium footrest board
â€" Rear storage box
â€" Custom body colour: snow white pearl mica.
â€" Xenon headlights.
The car itself wants for nothing, the runs and drives brilliantly.
Recently serviced including spark plugs, ignition leads, oil filter, oil, and a hybrid air filter.
Brand new tyres all round.
The bodywork is exceptional with only a few small stone chips that are barely visible.
The car was under-sealed and cavity filled upon arrival to the UK so it will remain rust free for years to come.
Starts hot and cold perfectly every time, and idles smoothly.
This is a link to the post Torque GT put up when they imported it: https://www.facebook.com/torquegt/photos/pcb.978298228891613/978295558891880/?type=3&theater (https://www.facebook.com/torquegt/photos/pcb.978298228891613/978295558891880/?type=3&theater)
The only negative point of this car is that the driver’s side seat bolster has been repaired at some point and the repair is showing signs of wear.
The seats are also slightly sun damaged.
Reason for sale is that I am moving house and the money needs to be invested in this.
That said this isn’t a decision that I am happy about and I am not looking for a quick sale, and I would like the car to go to an enthusiast or collector.
