With great reluctance I am selling…

The Conversion…
…was by club member Spartacus with an extensive build blog still available here: http://mazdarotaryclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=37480.0
Spartacus even posted on YouTube so you can hear what it sounds like (use headphones for best effect!):

Honesty points…
The odometer has packed up (they do) so I have been obsessively tracking mileage with GPS. And there’s a nice man on the fduk.org forum who can apparently fix it, but you may need to join a queue ïŠ
The front tyres need reseating on the rims soon as they keep slowly losing air.
Extra - free with the car
A spare tailgate if you can manage to take it away.
Figures
Current MOT until 13/9/16
59,500 chassis miles
40,100 engine miles
Less than 2,500 miles since engine conversion in 2007 and stored in a garage for 99.9% of the time ever since.
It looks pretty good for a 22.5 year old car, but needs ongoing TLC. It’s been great to own and I still love it, but need the space because I’m going racing in something less precious.
Out of interest I got it weighed recently â€" still only 1330kg with half tank of fuel, so it’s at least 263 bhp/tonne (excluding driver) â€" check this list out for where it sits in pub bragging rights: http://www.autosnout.com/Cars-Bhp-Per-Ton-List.php
That’s all good of course, but oh the torque, and ohh the noise!
Go on â€" you know you want to…

Really is a good looking FD... Always confuses me how "easily" V8 lump goes to FD´s engine bay... :)
Almost like Mazda intended it... although perhaps I shouldn't say that around here!
It is a snug fit though. Bonnet clearance is about >< this much!
Would you fancy part exchange with 400bhp s15?
