Title: Fuel starve on left hand turns
Post by: Gee on April 26, 2016, 11:12:05 AM
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has come across this issue with their FC before?

I was on track with my FC and every sharp left turn it seems to cut out and then as soon as I was out the corner it would be back to normal. Now I had well over 3/4 tank full of petrol so I'm sure it's not that - any idea what it could be?

Thanks

This is a common problem on fd's but never with that much fuel left. Usually around a 1/4 track I get fuel surge on tight left handers. This is solved by either a baffle tank fitted into the fuel tank or going the swirl pot route.

Yea that's something I would expect if I had around 1/4 tank of fuel but with an almost full tank I'm not sure what it could be! :(

Will do! That's my plans for this weekend, thanks for the advice man - much appreciated!

Tbh i haven't replaced the fuel filter since it landed from Japan, so that's on the list also!

money on your fuel filter then, I do mine every 10k and would do it more often if it wasn't such a bitch to access.
