Title: High Flow Cat
Post by: squicker on April 18, 2016, 03:16:57 PM
Hi

If fitting a high flow cat to a JDM Series 8 RX-7 (1999), will boost spike and need controlling, or will a high flow still provide sufficient back pressure to prevent overboost/creep/spiking?

Many thanks.

Shouldn't cause any issues especially if you have the stock ECU fitted as this would just protect the engine and boost cut if it saw a too higher boost level anyway.

Yes, ok, that's what I suspected but thought I'd check with those more knowledgeable!

Cheers  :)
