The MX5 isn't exactly stock and certainly divides opinions

Unfortunately the FB may not turn out as the same standard as the MX5 and it'll be a long term project while me and the other half save for our first mortgage.

Its got a bad amoking issue at the moment so need to get that sorted first. Its missing majority of the interior too so will need to source that. Apart from that i think it needs some TLC. Ive only seen a few photos of it despite a friend currently owning it

Welcome. Really like the MX styling, particularly the rear wing uprights. Look forward to seeing your progress with the FB. I've been looking for a good one for a while. Hopefully you can sort the smoking issue quickly.

Hi Chris,  :welcome:

You wont find any divided opinions in here over what you decide to do with the FB, infact  looking at your fully sorted MX-5 it will be interesting how the FB evolves  8)

What I can see from that pic, I think it has same colored interior with my bro´s car. So he might be able to help you with those interior parts. There is allready some parts from his car in UK ;)

But car looks quite good. Cant wait to see what you will do with it :)
FB is quite amazing car, allthough it was designed in ´70. It has very impressive solutions. And how it handles... :)

Bro and me have been into rotarys over ten years now. Allways learning new stuff. :)

A little update

Craig has decided to remove the engine so he can learn how to rebuild it and he was going to scrap the shell.

I've asked him to let me know once the engine has been removed and i'll have the rolling shell off him.

Only just found this topic - a belated welcome to the forum  :)

So, what are you going to do with the rolling shell?

Providing i get it,i'll eventually try and find another 12A to put back in it,but they seem to be hard to find at the moment. I've seen people putting 13bs in (NA and Turbo) but again they're either hard to come by or well out of my price bracket.
