For myself, my wife, fully comp, breakdown and 5 track days p/a included was only £400 on a 1999 RB.
Great people to deal with also, quick to respond and clearly know about the cars.
Agreed. I've had similar good service since purchasing my FD in 2012... and it's 5.7 V8 powered (conversion courtesy of Phil aka Spartacus - see build thread elsewhere on here). I had alternative quotes from another well known specialist insurer but they were half as much again.
One thing to watch for though is that not all of the Need2Insure policies build up a no claims bonus.

No NCB as it's a 'modern classic', so on agreed value terms. All my NCB are on my daily driver anyway, so not an issue in my situation.
Today I asked them to quote me for a new Merc (daily driver) so will be interesting to see what a normal policy is like from Need to Insure, with my full NCB applied.
