Hi all, my latest RX7 rescued and put back on the road
Originally imported by an RX7 specialist, this car has just one previous owner to me in the UK. Being unmodified and all original, it is the perfect example of these great sports cars which are increasingly becoming a collectors car.

Being a later series 7 model, the car benefits from some improvements over the earlier models
- Improved ECU being a 16bit opposed to the earlier 8 bit, gaining extra power in the top end
- Improved and simplified vacuum pipework for the sequential twin turbos
- Improved brakes
- Updated rear lights
- Airbag steering wheel
- Redesigned rear spoiler
- Improved air intake

A rebuilt engine taken from a car which was broken, and had only done a few hundred miles. Now the engine in this car has covered the first half of the 1000 miles with oil and filter change booked in for next week. I hope to have the second half of the run in mileage done before sale so the new owner can enjoy the car as normal.
The car is in very good condition for the year, with only a few minor marks in the paintwork. The wheel alignment has been done so the car drives straight and true.

Hi buddy, looking at getting back into rotary ownership, this would be what I would be after but have a couple questions. (its been a few years since my last one, forgive me if I appear dense! )
Do you offer any sort of warranty on your rebuilds?
Do you know the mileage/year of the engine donor?
Do you consider taking stuff in as part ex? (I'm currently running a late mk2 Mr2 t-top)

Hi Andy,
I bought the car mostly as it is really, the previous owner who ran the Rotary Garage had the engine rebuilt. He retired from the car business a few years ago, and I happened to see this sat on his drive for a while, asked if he wanted to sell, to which he said it was about time he did.
I've cleaned it up, had the bodywork detailed, put new tyres on, serviced it, and everything else needed to get back to former glory.
Not really a warranty but I plan to get a compression test done to show health of the engine
Unfortunately I can't take a part ex, I've got to cut down on the cars I have haha
Ok, well thanks buddy, I'd have to see about getting rid of the current one first so I'll think about it, would be nice to see the compression results though obviously.

Yes will post them up soon, still currently running it in so having to use it as much as I an to get the miles done....its a hard life 8)

Haha yes it was a hobby getting them back on the road, still got a few left to get done too!
