Here is my 2000 Import Mazda RX-7 FD3S up for sale.
I am a Rotary enthusiast and this is my 3rd RX7 FD3S i have owned, u would find my build on FDUK and MRC Forums.
The reason for the sale is because i have lost interest with building the car, want to move on and chasing luxary.
Plans were large but it wasn't worth spending anymore as my mind just changed overtime.
Due to working 6/7 days now the car doesn't get driven enough as i also have another car to use, used as a weekend car but only in good weather conditions, luckily to see it out once a month now, its a waste just sitting there in the garage and can do going to a new owner.
Driven without abuse, mainly at cruising speeds and going a blast now and then when properly warmed up, always been garaged and looked after.
This car was brought near standard condition from a guy at Somerset in 27/05/2013 and 15-20k has been spent on parts and labour when i brought the car from then.
Previous owner had a full out service from Atomic Rex costing £2300 in 25/11/2011.
Been imported by JM Imports back in 04/05/11, i am the second owner of the car.
Car has been converted to Single Turbo by Pip at WGT which cost me a shocking price of £5300 in total.
Car has recently done a sump pan, oil,filter and spark plug change.
A load of history from the previous owner and myself with all the services carried out when due.
Car has been very well looked after and checking coolant and engine oil every 2-4 weeks.
The block is standard running a safe map of 360hp & 300LBFT at the flywheel with 0.75bar (Mapped by Pip at WGT)
Screamer pipe comes on around 3.9k Rpm.
Going to the history of the engine.
This full engine was from my previous blue 2000 RX7 FD3S and been swapped into this white 2000 RX7 FD3S (Swapped by Pip at WGT).
Reason for this is because of large amount of snowfall fell just 40miles of arriving home from picking up my T51R Build from WGT.
During the journey on motorway it was building snow fall n slush on lanes which made the 7 very unsteady and wobbly to drive on parts of the lanes.
Ended up moving to the slow line of motorway going 40-50mph followinging the clear tyre lines on the road for a long tense slow driving time.
Ended up hitting a pile of slush which made me lose control swagging left to right which I tired to correct but ended up the other side hitting the barrier on the overtaking lane area which smashed in the front end.
This caused O/Side chassis rail bent back approx 20mm, its collapsed behind strut tower, across towards N/side 25mm and up approx 30mm.
I decided not to fix or Jig the car as it just wouldn't be the same again, so brought a new RX7 to swap into.
Car has been raised up after installing the Re-Amemiya front bumper due to better ground clearance as the new Re-Amemiya bumper sits lower.
Has been properly had 4 wheel alignment done after raising the car up with print out.
Sale also comes with spare engine oil.
Going to bad points about the car, there is a Amber ABS light showing on the dash, this light has been showing since i have brought this car, took it to 4 garages and a full ABS check and they can't see the problem to turn it off but there is no issues with breaking.
Driver side door mirror has a bit of paint n small dents due to removing the old Ganador mirrors that was on this car before.
Antenna Ariel has been snapped off due to garage door was not fully up when reversing out and currently sealed with foil tape to keep rain water out from going in.
Sound system wiring has been disconnected from the car so would need to be wired by up by a Audio Professional. Normal standard speakers are connected up and in use.
This model is taxed under a 1.3cc therefore an annual tax price is only £145.
2 new front tyres has been replaced 4 months ago n then has only covered around 200miles.
Rear tyres still have plenty of tread.
Spare wheel can be loaded on to the boot as it would not fit the hole due to battery is relocated to the back.
Sale does not come with private plate and old plate will go back on reading (W224 RRG)
Comes with 2 sets of keys.
I will can consider very near offers but not in a rush to sell as can hold the car for the time being.
