Banzai Magazine are now organising a Jap Day at Castle Combe on Saturday 14th May http://www.japday.co.uk/
The RX-8OC will be orbing the track sessions for any MRC members that wish to go our on track and I think this will be 5 places available per track session. More details will be available once I have them.
If anyone wishes to attend this event, then please add your name to the list below as I will need to organise a club stand and also pay for tickets upfront.
If anyone wishes to cancel their track sessions at Silverstone and now go to the Jap Day at Castle Combe, please let me know.
I am aiming to finalise names and track sessions by the end of January.

Hi, is it to late to be added to the list for Castle Coombe?
Should be fine mate Clive or Lisa will be along shortly to confirm 100%. with japfest moving to Silverstone and this being Combe's answer to that decision i really hope we go and support it. For me ive been to everyone so Combe really is the home of Japfest. 1 positive that annoying Redline bloke wont be talking nonsense allday on the tannoy :))

just read in Banzai that if you buy tracktime your get a free entry but clubstand is £20.00? SO gets confusing do you need seperate clubstand and entry and if i buy track time through the club i cant claim the free entry sorry to be a PITA . can you clarify with them ta Jon. :D

Have not yet bought tickets for Jap Day club stand as still waiting to see if we gather more interest in order to know how many tickets I need to purchase.

That's correct, I've booked 10.15 and 12.15 direct with japday and 10.30 & 12.30 through RX08

are you sure you want todo that? youll be out at 10.15 and come off and go to the back out on the 10.30 am session at the back of the pack? no cooldown and if any delay your gonna get released if they allow into cars coming round from the first lap! There was a coming together recently at combe on track entry and they may not release you...plus the exit pitlane is busy at the end of a session.

Less than 2 weeks to go now, so last chance to book your tickets for this massive event.
Around 50 rotary cars have already signed up over on the RX8OC. The MRC will be sharing a stand with them for JapDay, which the organisers claim is shaping up to get about 80% the usual attendance of previous Japfest days; so loads of atmosphere with slightly less crowding - sounds perfect :)
Simply put your car on the stand, wander around, soak up the event and chat to other owners; or add the thrill of a tracktime session (or two!) - places available for the very cheap price of just £20.

Japday @ Castle Coombe is only next Saturday for those who haven't decided also cheaper than Japfest @ £20 per regardless of how many on board.
