hi guys and girls so do u think i should go 4 a rx7 without a engine rebuild paying around 7k or do u think i should go 4 one with a engine rebuild 4 about 9k?
I\'d say it depends on who did the rebuild, but a 2Kquid rebuild sounds reasonably economical to me.
Then again, I don\'t know what British money even looks like, nor how many of them a rebuild is likely to need.
So take my comments with a pinch of salt trhown over yer shoulder... ;)
Your description is too vague.
It depends on teh cars condition more than anything. Ive seen some real sheds I wouldnt want if with a rebuild, and some nice ones that havnt been done.
Its a weight up between condition and price really.
Yeah lots of different parameters which are too hard to just narrow down into those 2 brackets IMO but i guess a main one is how are your finances going to be looking as time progresses i guess....if 3k hit landing on yer doorstep is something you could take on board then i\'d just & did spend as much money as possible on a decent motor which in my case was a nice low miler but i dont kid myself that this is any guarantee it wont go pop tomorrow....although that said even a rebuilt one might go pop tomorrow if i\'m putting my sceptical hat on

To summarise lots of ifs & buts

at the end of the day it\'s your wedge yer spending so try & way up pros & cons & see what car will fit your hopes best.......
Si (& a thoroughly useless post which probably adds nothing constructive but er dont be shy ask away for any more info....)
Keep looking every week on //www.autotrader.co.uk as last week there was a very nice rx with a rebuild going for £8200, so you could prob get it for £8000 cash???
