Hi all fellow rotary members!
I recently became a new member on here and currently own a 1994 Efini RX-7 FD. It was the 17 inch RS type wheels and the car is all original, bar the addition of an LPG tank that enables me to switch between running on that, or the normal petrol tank. It has been re-mapped so it can run on LPG throughout the whole rev range and on full boost, and since LPG burns with a higher octane a water injector has been installed to help keep engine temperatures from reaching fever point. I am looking forward and keeping out on future meet ups so I can take the Rex along and say hello to a few members on here! I have attached some pictures below of the car:

Welcome to MRC Jeff and thank you for becoming a full club member ,
Real real interesting your on LPG as your the first one I have heard with an FD on LPG as I have only seen Gen 1 and 2 running on LPG very happily,
Any ideas who carried it out, I know Simon Kramer the original owner of a company called Rotechniks who sadly died was fascinated with carrying out this conversion but room for the tank was the big problem so i'm not sure if he sorted this or not.
Sadly the pics don't open perhaps you can have another go :)
Have fun out ther
Thanks Clive, I did want to re-edit the post, but it timed out so I will repost here.

The previous owner who is an RX-& FD enthusiast set the LPG kit up himself just to see what can be achieved with LPG on a twin rotary. The LPG Tank is located where the space saver wheel would have been below the boot parcel, and the LPG nozzle is located behind the licence plate which has been re-installed so that it flips up like a bond car gadget! £25 gives me a full tank that could probably last me a good 200 miles. Needs a bit of petrol to run it well so I normally put about 30 litres of premium petrol in the tank. When the LPG runs out, a beeper sounds to the cockpit and there is a button that switches the car back to petrol whilst on the move (no stopping required!) and a quick double press shuts the buzzer out. I normally cruise on the petrol and not push it beyond about 4000 rpm, just because of the re-map parameters.
It's a Zavoli Kit installed by Energy Shift in Kent on the understanding that running and tuning was not down to them as they had no experience with Rotaries...
Tuning on the Apexi made it more than driveable, fast and very cheap to run 8)
:welcome: Jeff
Interesting (and very nice looking) car - I look forward to seeing it at a meet sometime :)
