Title: Blank in UIM - what is it?
Post by: Eclipsed4ever on April 12, 2015, 07:33:06 PM
Evening all.

Whilst redoing the pipes of the rats nest the other day I noticed that I am missing a couple of solenoids that are shown on the drawing, some pipework, and there appears to be an aftermarket blank on the UIM.

Can anyone enlighten me what mod this is someone has done and the benefits of it?

Cheers

Lee

Is it still running the turbos sequentially as could be a sign of a non seq conversion which doesnt have any benefits tbf. If its still sequential then its just a simplified sequential system which removes the non essential circuits like emissions stuff and aws etc.

Ah that blanking plate, use your eyes neil doh!!! Its part of a set you can buy to do away with your airpump etc which becomes obsolete when you get rid of the cat. Iirc the other plates are for power steering delete etc.

Ah I see, that would make sense. There's no cat anymore :)

Thank you!
