I am aggressively looking at FD's at the moment and I saw one today that met almost all of my requirements except the interior. It was in pretty good shape but with me being me I want near perfect, so I know that eventually the scuffs and few scratches would drive me insane. So, who on here has refurbished their interior plastics? How did you go about it? Has anyone had it done professionally? If so, who does this kind of thing and what kind of prices are we talking about to refurbish the door cards, centre console, glovebox and dash?
I know interiors aren't the highest priority to many but I am one of those people that if I can see it, it will bother me. For example, my RX-8 has a pretty clean interior except for the scratches on the glovebox. It drives me absolutely insane and I can't find an unscratched used one so it hasn't been replaced yet. With an FD though, I would be willing to pony up a bit of cash to refurbish the plastics properly (assuming the costs aren't eye watering).
Hmmm...I guess no one has.
