Post by: mikey-t on March 11, 2015, 05:24:21 PM
Right guys I am getting to the stage now where the car will be requiring its life fluids put back in so I'm here to ask what's the best bets as there are so many differing opinions online

Until the rebuild I was just using car plan mineral oil and some coolant with no alcohol but what do you guys recommend

I need coolant, engine oil, transmission and power steering recommendations also anything else I may have forgot

Blue coolant 50/50 with distilled. Millers.
Millers gearbox oil 75/90 nano shock stuff. Race stuff expensive but lush....sorted the stiff shift gearbox in me high mileage shogun as though.
MRP for engine oil Clives rotary formula oil.  I got it in all my rotarys or 10w 40 semi....or mineral....everyone gonna have diff opinions on it.
Diff again used millers lsd race oil...smells lush.
Ready soon woohoo!

MRP is Mazda Rotary Parts. Shop site is on this forum.

Defo for engine oil from MRP. I used cheap mineral oil in my FD, broke crank !! Used MRP recommended Rotary Oil in new engine.

I use Kaaz LSD oil in Diff, but as Boosted said if your not using a specialist LSD.

Coolant - I'm using stuff from 'Halfuds' suitable for Aluminium Engines.
