Ah... that's a charset issue we had during the conversion. I believe the old vB was ISO-something and we are now on UTF8. All old threds and posts have backslashes near the apostrophes. That's 700k posts with that issue. :mad: :91: Me thinks it's here to stay.

ISO-8859- (could be -1 to -15)... Recently had to supply a conversion table for that to EBCDIC of all things at work recently (including the foreign currency symbols... YES modern EBCDIC does include the extended characters as well!). Phone on Charge :)
