Title: Whats the reasoning?
Post by: Freddy on August 08, 2004, 08:46:09 PM
Hi

Is there any significant reason why the tyres need changing on cars from Japan? I\'ve noticed a lot of the owners here have had their tyres changed almost immediately after taking delivery on a fresh import.

Cheers

else you do a me & bin it in the wet....
Basically i think the theory is rubber is harder &/or less quality so dont grip well from cold & even worse in wet...
I put off outting my eagle F1\'s on & well there\'s sumin to regret :(
£400 or so of rubber is worth the potentially bigger bills it\'ll avoid or at least help to IMO!!!!

The rubber from Japan is a harder compound, thus making it a real handful in the wet.

Plus they are probably only speed rated up to 112 mph or so.
