Well the RX has been in for the MOT today ...
AND PASSED :)
Got some verbal advisories for it being scabby underneath , but apart from that its a pass
Happy Days ( well 365 of them !! )
Cool always a nice feeling a mot pass!
Waxoyl that underside cracking stuff!
a pass is a pass :Thumbsup!
Richard back off his hols ?
Shaun
thats the plan .. get it coated in underseal - might have to scrape some of the lose stuff off first
And yes Shaun he is
When I finally get around to doing the underside of phoenix, I am going with POR-15 on the rust treated surfaces, and then waxoyl over that, should keep it out of trouble for a few years.
glad it passed, you\'ve had a good year for getting out in it!
Not a bad idea at all with the POR .. might have to price some up
Congrats on the MOT pass, always a relief :Thumbs-up
I\'m using POR15 on the underside on my FB. Expensive stuff, but it goes a long way. Surface prep is critical, but if done right, this stuff acts like a ceramic hard coat. Don\'t get any POR15 on your skin, as it won\'t come off for weeks :D

knowing your keen eye for a bargain, buy it in smaller tins - once you open it, you\'ll need to use the whole tin or throw it, as it goes off in the air!
when you say "prep" can you expand on that

Hmmm not the best review
And its $22 in the US and £22 here .. bit pants isnt it

no idea of postage though
I got mine from these guys as they are only just down the road from me. I went with the 6 smaller sized tins and obviously the prep bottles also:)

Haven\'t gotten around to using it yet.. But its supposed to be awesome

waxoyl.....splash it every where except brakes. hose ferrules exhaust joints...brakes pipes...does the lot! I waxoyled an mx5 a few year back and it stored it for winter in the works car park ....it flooded to cills inside and out! went though 2 mots no issues!
Nice one Stu glad the RX7 passed.
ive used this stuff to cover up the previous welding etc..

Glad to see the old boys still going strong stu ;)

Not getting a load of use , but still going :) :)

Probably a bit like mine just now, more jobs to fix than miles to drive :p
Hows the import doing? Last I saw it was still a garden ornament ;)
Rich
its still sat there :(
Rob192 ( i think thats his username :) ) has a gear box for me once we can sort something out
Sounds good :) I did like it when I was down, such a different FC yet exactly how Mazda intended it, it definitely needs to be on the road again :)
