Happy Days ( well 365 of them !! )

When I finally get around to doing the underside of phoenix, I am going with POR-15 on the rust treated surfaces, and then waxoyl over that, should keep it out of trouble for a few years.

glad it passed, you\'ve had a good year for getting out in it!

Not a bad idea at all with the POR .. might have to price some up

Congrats on the MOT pass, always a relief :Thumbs-up

I\'m using POR15 on the underside on my FB. Expensive stuff, but it goes a long way. Surface prep is critical, but if done right, this stuff acts like a ceramic hard coat. Don\'t get any POR15 on your skin, as it won\'t come off for weeks :D

knowing your keen eye for a bargain, buy it in smaller tins - once you open it, you\'ll need to use the whole tin or throw it, as it goes off in the air!

I got mine from these guys as they are only just down the road from me. I went with the 6 smaller sized tins and obviously the prep bottles also:)

waxoyl.....splash it every where except brakes. hose ferrules exhaust joints...brakes pipes...does the lot! I waxoyled an mx5 a few year back and it stored it for winter in the works car park ....it flooded to cills inside and out! went though 2 mots no issues!

Sounds good :) I did like it when I was down, such a different FC yet exactly how Mazda intended it, it definitely needs to be on the road again :)
