Title: Oil in turbo rear housing
Post by: dre on June 08, 2014, 12:43:55 PM
Managed to get my car started after it had been sitting for a while and I am now getting oil in the rear housing of the turbo. I have a single turbo FD.

I am assuming the oil seal has failed in the turbo. Does anyone know of anyone in the essex area that can rebuid my turbo with new seals?

Thanks

Andreas

Yes mate, finally back in an FD.

its a TEC turbo H300. I think the oil seal has gone. Just need it stripped and rebuilt.

CRturbos up north do an amazing job, one of the best rebuilders in the country in my opinion. They offer a collection and delivery service so no matter how far you are :)
