Title: Motec M2R or M84?
Post by: YAU730 on June 05, 2014, 12:01:00 AM
Looking at a motec ecu for my 13b fd3s,

I will be keeping my 13b engine and looking for traction control n antilag feature.

Looking at the M2R or the M84 or even if there is a cheaper cheaper choice from the Motec range, who deals them in the UK?

I don\'t have a budget in mind as long as traction control n antilag is there then its all good.

Just sold my Motec M84 , It is a entry level ecu , I had the additional features, two stage  fuelling, Launch, Traction Etc , I wanted to change Boost/fuel maps, for wet weather, push to pass, pit lane limiter, on a Cal switch which unfortunately this Ecu did not support, also to convert the abs sensors for wheel speed worked out another £240 +vat I\'m now using Life F-88, which can just about do everything, ...........but @ a price, please do  consider what you are using the car for, as there are others that can  do as good as job, Maybe Marco will do a deal & map the car to Suit!! Anyway Good luck with your decision.
