Talking to clive today i thought i post it up here as well the skit is in the title !!!
WELL some of you know, i don\'t track my car , but i have done one of the most ultimate track days on land, a total of almost some 200 tonnes of steal/Armour and fire power on a test circuit at Bovington camp dorset for A.T.D.U in my younger days.
There used to be a 30 foot poster of this photo of this in the Bovington tank museum dorset where you could clearly see this was me i was the only tank crew wearing a beret

it was a good few days doing this photo shoot for crown copy write/ M.V.E.E Chertsey ( I got one of the colour originals that all crew,s received as a thank you for all the B/S we had to put up with)
But it was fantastic fun to run with these monsters at speed with only feet apart from each other.
Proper "Track Day" :3gears-lh:rollin
I actually did a help for heroes car track day on the tank ground there, \'cos of the length of the circuit it was billed as the english nurburgring. That was interesting to say the least - wet muddy concrete and bollards designed to stop tanks. I survived, mainly \'cos i was a wus, but there were quite a few cars written off that day, including (from memory) a newish m3, a borrowed mx5 that rolled and a caterham that ended up in a tree!!
Fun times ...
Used to work on the tank park driven loads of miles round there in everything from challenger to cvrt. Great fun
I see your tank and raise you a Ship, I was driving this when this video was shot.
