These are the exhaust ports, just wondering if they look bigger then the normal exhaust ports so i can see if it\'s been ported (it\'s a import)

oh and don\'t take notice of the white stuff on the metal above, it\'s just the salt from shipping i havent brushed off yet.

You cant see from those pics!
The conventional exhaust porting largely takes place at the \'other end\' of the hole; the port shape on the inside of the housing and its insert are enlarged etc.
In order to tell if its ported you need to get the camera pointing down the holes with a good light source. Even then it may not be clearly obviuos depending how well you can see the inserts/ports themslves.
Those ports look like any other exhaust ports.
Take it apart - then it will be obviuos :D
any particular noise it makes if it\'s been ported?
i\'m gonna get the digi cam and take some pics of the insides of them and use the flash, those pics where on me camera phone so keep an eye on the post :)

the depends on how restrictive the exhaust system is. on a less restrictive system porting makes it alot noisier port up makes it more brap brap brapier.
Noise I would say also depends on how extreme the porting is! My BP is very \'brappy\' and lumpy on the idle and I believe that is also tru of Brian\'s White BP (which is still for sale! - free plug Brian :D :rollin )! My BP isn\'t massively loud, but then it still has a silenced midpipe as well as the twin back boxes.
Is the white car B/P\'d in the end Bri? it has practically no noiteable overlap on idle from recollection?? has the engine been apart at all?
I don\'t know mods thread hijacking again.
The guy\'s who built it in Japan say it has bridgeporting but low end and mid range drivability was taken into consideration when ported. It doesn\'t sound like the only other bridge I had heard before which was Geffs but whether that means it\'s not a bridge I have no idea. They Guy\'s in Jap have given me a run down of what\'s what and what\'s not and I don\'t suspect them of lying considering they would have nought to gain from it. The dyno graph suggests it is bridge like as the max power it at redline and climbing with flat timing.
I haven\'t pulled the engine there\'s no need to and won\'t be to confirm the porting either, so I guess it will be one of those unknowns along with did Elvis die or go into hiding.
finally got some images of the inside of the port, not very good but these should hopefully help some of you make a decision, has it been ported or look rebuilt inside?

I\'d say not, those look like the origional cones/baffels in there to me.
Port shape in the actual housing looks stock, as does the insert/sleeve.
Our salary survery says: \'uh-err\' - to \'is it ported?\'...
ok cool, thanks for all your info.. didnt want to mis inform anyone about the car :)
thanks alot
